iBliss Wellness is on the mission to restore function, flexibility and strength with application of holistic modalities and avoiding "collateral damage" arising from unnecessary surgical intervention. Consistent participation and engagement in your own care is a required ingredient. Your referring doctor and/or your therapist usually prescribes a set frequency of treatment to help you achieve your goals. Showing up as scheduled for these visits is one of the most influential factor in determining success of your treatment plan. As it can make the difference between whether you succeed in your treatment or not, we take this subject seriously.
Insurance coverage check and billing
We welcome you as a patient and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with quality treatments, including medical massage. We would like to inform you of our billing policy. We will submit bills to most insurance companies on your behalf. Some insurance companies pay fixed rates for physical therapy procedures, while others pay a percentage of the charge. This information is verified for each patient by a member of our staff as a courtesy and is based on the assumption that you are entitled to physical therapy benefits. However, this verification is not a guarantee of benefit or payment. We strongly encourage you to follow up with your insurance company to determine your eligibility and benefits for massage therapy, physical therapy, and acupuncture. It is your responsibility to understand your insurance policy.
Changing Appointments
At Ibliss Wellness, we understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes appointments need to be rescheduled or canceled. To ensure that all clients have access to our services and to maintain the efficiency of our scheduling, we have established the following policy:
Rescheduling
Rescheduling or canceling your appointment is complimentary if you provide at least 24 hours of notice. Automated reminders are sent before 24 hours and 1 hour before your appointment. To reschedule or cancel, please contact us via phone or email at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Appointments rescheduled or canceled with less than 24 hours of notice will incur a cancellation fee of $69.
Please keep alternative time windows handy when you call. Same day changes are subject to availability. You may need to see a therapist other than the one who normally treats you if you do re-arrange your appointment. All of our therapists are experienced professionals and they will study your patient chart, so you will be in good hands. You will return to your original therapist in the next regularly scheduled visit.
Complaints regarding feeling worse after the last massage or feeling so much better that treatment is no longer required will not be considered valid reasons to skip an appointment without 24 hours of notice. The standard cancellation fee will apply in these cases.
Cancellation and No-show
Cancellations are complementary at iBliss Wellness. Minimum 24 hours of notice of a cancellation is required, however. You can request changes to your appointment by email, text and phone. Without appropriate notice and no notice, it is considered a no-show, for which $69 no-show fee is applicable. If your treatment is billed to insurance, this fee is typically not reimbursed by your insurance plan. It is your financial responsibility. For workers compensation and personal injury patient, documentation of any missed appointments will be forwarded to your case manager and primary physician.
If you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, a no-show fee of $99 will be charged.
Why are we so serious about this?
When you do not show up as scheduled, three people are hurt: 1. You, because you don’t get the treatment you need as prescribed by the doctor and/or Physical Therapist. 2. Your therapist who now has a space in his/her schedule since the time was reserved for you personally, 3. Another patient who could have been scheduled for treatment if proper advance notice of a cancellation had been given.
Fees will be charged to the credit card on file or invoiced to the client. This policy is in place to ensure that we can accommodate all of our clients’ needs and maintain a high standard of service. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may result in the requirement of a deposit for future appointments.
